My face and neck do pull a little bcause they are tight. it is li/ke pull a rubber band as tight as it will go and there you have some of my bands. I guess my face is not as much tight on its own but it sometimes gets stiff because it is dry. Once I get my neck and shoulders release then it will eb better for my face. Hurt? Not really. I never have been in any pain that I know of. I just get drove crazy by the itches and thats about all. But I do have medicine for that. I guess for comfort I would have to say my legs are the most comfortable part of me since they have had time to heal. They were not burned but they were used as what they call donor sites.
I am kinda of glad that they did not do my face yet that way I can really appriciate what they have done once the final surery for my face is done. What they are going to do is first the neck adn shoulder releases. Then they will do my face in another surgery. THey are goign to take my tummy skin which they have saved for my face because it is like the skin that is on your face. It is like the same thing which I thought was neat. They will also fix my eye if not in this facial surgery then in another surgery and what they are going to do for that is bascially another release in my eyelid and then get it to close then put a little skin draft there. And they are going to fix my nose which he said would be hard to do. I do not know if they are going to ix my left ear or not but if they don't that is fine and if they do that is fine as well. My last "major" if you will surgery will be my hair implants and they are just taking hair flocils (?) from one side and implanting them to the other side. Then after that it will be touch ups here and there. Oh yea, I will be in a neck brace for a little while after the neck and shoulder release. My stay in the burn unit will be a week to ten days and then I will be home so that is better than the 3 months. I won't have to have a trac or anything liek that just a breathing tube during surgery.
Tomorrow I will continue...Feel to comment here or on the carepage cuz I still check that one as well. If you have any questions just ask I will answer.

Wow! Thanks for all the details! That's GREAT that yo're not in pain!!! What a HUGE blessing!!! When are they doing your surgeries?
Thinking of you Julie.
Where'd you go????
Hey Julie...Not sure if you remember me. I was Tracy Lounsbury when we went to Bethany. I've been following your story since it happened and I'm really enjoying your updates here. As always your family is in my prayers.
