On September 16th, 2006, I was invovled in a serious car accident. It left e with burns that cover 45% of my upper body and in that same accident, we lost our 16 month old son Taylen. I was in a drug induced coma for about 3 months and when I was in that coma I had tests and surgey upon surgey. I ended up getting a fungus that is soppose to happen toward the end of the healing process that is if you are going to get it. But me, I got it within the beginning part of it all. No one but my family were allowed in the room to see me. Since I got that I was not able to get my facial surgey done so instead I will be having that done in the near furture. The reason they could not do my facial surgery is because you onlly have one shot at it and the fungus could really miss that up. If this fungus could not have been under control I could have died because of it. But I didn't (thank you captin obivous).
There was a time that I gave everyone that was working with me a scare becuase they could not hear my heart beating so I was code blue, which to me is a very scarey thought. But they got me back. (There are many other stories about how they all could tell when I didnt like something they were doing to me or when I was trying to get out of bed).
Now we will move to December 15th (I think). I woke up FINALLY! I found out then about the Detroit Tigers going to teh world series and I could not believe it. ...
More to come tomorrow

haha, I like the Tigers comment at the end. You're funny Julie.
I can't imagine at all what it'd be like to 'wake up' and have it be 3 months later. That must have been incredibly difficult and strange.
I wish I could send you a hug Julie
Thanks for sharing your story, Julie.
