Yes, you are seeing correctly. I am still alive and blogging. Since we do not have the internet in our apartment I have not felt like blogging but I am going to get better at this again. Well, like the title implies this is an update on us.
We are all doing fince except that Taylen has tonsillitis (yes, I spelled it right this time). This is the second time he has had it and we have no health insurance for him yet. That is a different story that I will get to soon. So anyways, he was running a high fever Tuesday afternoon after his nap and once again I thought it had to do with teething, his fever was 102 and only went down to 99.9. But you could tell by his eyes on Wednesday that he didn't feel well and that was it. This boy will not slow down for nothing so it makes it hard to tell when he is sick until he gets a fever then his eyes do not look well. I took him to the ER on Wednesday night before youth got back in time to get his medicine and to let Tabor know what was going on with him. So we stayed at youth for a little while so everyone could say hi to him and then we left and came down around 9pm again and one of the adult sponsors said he was looking alittle better by then but that was because his medicine was in him. Now it is the fifth and last day of the medicine and he is doing great. This medicine stays in his system for another 5 days and then he will go for a check up. But the good thing is now that we all have a doctor.
But anyways, we are now in the process of getting Taylen a passport so then we can get him a social sercurity card and then get him health insurance. We sent the passport information away today and will get in about 2 weeks.
Tabor is doing well. He hurt his leg about two weeks ago, playing baseball. He scraped it up pretty nicely and then a week later it had a little infection because we didn't know that he along with soaking was suppose to scrub it off that night when he came home. But I don't know if he would have taken the pain of scrubbing it out after he did it. But that is now coming along nicely. We had called a lady in the church who knows first aid that helped him last Tuesday so that is a good thing. But that is healing now and I guess he might play tonight but he said no slidding and I am in agreement. He slide on it once and then again. The first time he opened it up really bad and then re-injured sliding on it again. I was not there that time but was told the whole story that night. They did when 19-20. It was a HUGE come back. So I guess at least they won. He sat out of last week's game.
Anyways, that is all the excitiment going on here. I should go now. TTYL
