This was the weekend we went to candidate at a church in Michigan. I was not telling the details to much incase things did not go well. We had a great time at Burnips Wesleyan, which of course is located in Burnips Michigan right outside Grand Rapids and Holland (for those of you who are know anything about Michigan). We got there on Saturday afternoon and we got back to my mom and step-dad's house this afternoon after observing their VBS program, which was Festia (I think I spelled it wrong). So anyways, after meeting and having dinner (supper) with some of the youth volunteers and children's workers, going to both morning and evening service plus sunday school, after talking and being around the congregation in both services, after having lunch (dinner) with the teens and their parents, and then finally after meeting with the LBA, we were extended the call to be the youth pastor and children's dirctor. We accepted right on the spot. We will be hopefully moving in July after getting things squared away for Tabor to be here on his R1 visa and packing up in Nova Scotia. God is awesome and to see how He has worked in our lives in the last three years while we were looking for a place and know to see where we will be living and working is awesome. It was for sure God's timing anf we are so thankful for that.
I will keep you all up to date on what is going on with us and this process. But for right now, we are visiting here until next Monday!
Talk to you all later~
